| Ditch Day is a day for fun and games-a day away from work; a day to
enjoy the beautiful California scenery and the gorgeous Caltech campus;
a day when the Dean becomes a spy, professors become secret agents, the
Court of Mann becomes a bootcamp, and you become a hero uncovering deep
mysetries...
The stacks that the Blacker House seniors plan usually accomodate teams
of
8-10 people--smaller than stacks in most of the other houses. In most
stacks, the group has to work as one to accomplish all tasks. Occasionally
there are stacks in which each person has a special task that he/she has
to execute during the day. Sometimes you get to be a grand french chef
for a day and sometimes a mime; other times you are just a swimmer or a
miner, maybe a photographer....Of course, there are the times when you
are a spy on a mission from GOD, or maybe secret agent 007; sometimes you
are a movie star-Harrison Ford or Sean Connery, take your pick...sometimes
you are just a kid again, playing your
favorite game; and sometimes you just play out a favorite book of yours...
whatever you are, wherever Ditch Day takes you, you are quaranteed a day
of pure, uncensured fun-an unforgetable memory for life...
But when is Ditch Day, you might wonder...well here is all I know about
that: Ditch Day is tomorrow, Frosh. :-). But maybe someone else
