Subject: Meeting 6/24/01!

   The group once known as Thursdays, and now something different
(sorry, I don't remember the current name) will be having a summer
meeting & BBQ at my place this coming Sunday, June 24, 2001. For those
who don't know me, I graduated in '96, and now work in the videogames
business. [See .sig below for link to home page.] I live just a few
blocks from the 10/405 interchange, roughly 5 miles from the beach.

   As it's summer vacation, I'm not sure who's around, and who'll want
to carpool out this way, if you do need to carpool, please call John
Skidmore @ 626-796-8331. Carpooling should leave roughly 3PM to head
here. The meeting here will start at roughly 4PM, with BBQ around
6:30-7PM. I'll supply most things (sodas, hamburgers, hotdogs, chips),
but if you have any non-carnivore food preferences, please bring them.

   Ultra-concise driving directions: 110 Fwy S to 10 Fwy W. Exit
Overland, go straight (onto National) at end of offramp. Go about a
mile on National, under the 405, and take a right onto Sawtelle.  Go
about 1/2 a mile, under the 10, left onto Pearl (no light). At second
cross street, right onto Purdue. I'm about 50 yards up Purdue on the
right; there's no gate on the apartment complex.
