Virtualized Servers

It would be really awesome if we let our users create their own virtualized servers.

Resources

Technology

We would use Xen to run the virtualization. Automated remctl scripts would set up images, probably served over NFS or iSCSI from apollo.

AFS

Users would have access to their home directories through AFS. They would be able to provide their personal user kerberos token, or could also use an automatically-generated host keytab (username/xen)
