Hermes is our mail server. As such, in addition to running the Postfix MTA, it is also a full-fledged AFS server that holds the mail volumes. Mail is screened via ClamAV, Spamassassin, and Pyzor (via Amavis). Furthermore, hermes hosts certain web material (such as the logs.ugcs.caltech.edu proxy). Hermes also controls the UPS in the right rack.
