Aero Association of Caltech/JPL
Welcome to the home page of the Aero Association of the California
Institute of Technology (AACIT). We are a non-profit corporation
dedicated to the promotion of interest in general aviation in
the community of the California Institute of Technology. We
are informally known as the Caltech / JPL Flying Club, since most of our members are students and employees at the California Institute of Technology and Jet Propulsion
Laboratory. There are a limited number of associate memberships to others.
Our fleet of six single-engine airplanes is based at El Monte, California. We feature competitive rental and instruction rates, and you do not need to be affiliated with Caltech or JPL to join AACIT. AACIT is a private flying club, not a flight school, and we therefore do not offer classes or regular enrollment for flight training. Information on joining AACIT can be found here.

Asked Questions for beginning and prospective pilots.
