Here is some recommended reading. I've proveded links where
applicable. The links are broken, but should work by tues night. In
a while, I'll set up automated amazon.com ordering or
such for the books.
- An Abramelinian Ramble, Bill Heidrick A great
commentary on the classic work
- The Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage, Books One
and Two A
classic work. The foundation of the hermetic notion of the Holy
guardian Angel. Good stuff.
- The Holy Kabblah, A. E. Waite Some peopel don't
like Waite. I do. His style can be dense at times.
- The Essential Kabbalah, Danieal Matt A very good book,
full of excelent primary sources in translation. Also, very cheap.
- Colin's Kabbalah FAQ I've mentioned him before.
Read the rest of the page too, it's good.
- The Song of Soloman A beautiful Kabbalistic
treatise
- The Sepher Yetzirah, or The Book of Formation This
might be hard with no background, but by the 3rd class, it should go
down smooth.
- The Sepher ha-Zohar, or The Book of Splendour I
won't lie; this is difficult and confusing. It's worth it.
