Stephen at Indian Creek
Indian Creek is a world-class climbing area in Utah, famous for its remarkably parallel "splitter" cracks.
The temperature is mild in winter (though not warm) and high season is spring and fall. It's a reasonable spring break destination. There are also many other climbing areas near Moab. To get to Indian Creek, either drive to Moab (11 hours from Los Angeles) and then head south, or fly to Salt Lake City and then drive 4 hour south to Moab.
