Patrick, Pratyush, Brandon, Lauren, Kostya, and complete first-timer Alex headed up Shepherd's pass for a 2-day attempt on Mt. Mount Tyndall April 16-17, 2011. 4 summited by ascending the slopes next to the NW ridge and scrambling the class 3 summit ridge. Snow conditions were great with the exception of very soft snow with wet-slide danger on the final descent from the Symes Creek "Stupid" Saddle back to the cars on Sunday night.

On the way out, we met up with Nick and Hamik, who did a 2-day ski traverse of the Sierra! Whoa!
