Before and for almost 10 years after I graduated from Caltech (97), I climbed my fair share in the local crags, like Joshua Tree, Tahquitz, Williamson Rock (Back when it was open). I also joined some club members in a number of skiing and climbing trips to the Sierra Nevadas. Now I live in the Bay Area, and I climb mostly in Yosemite. From time to time I like to hang on the daisies and bang in some pitons, (aka. hangin' n bangin'). But I try to free climb as much as posible.
Please excuse the tacky taste making and editing some of these movies. The sound tracks intend to give a western feel to these climbs. Being a foreigner, I am fascinated with the history of the western US.
Trip Reports
Needles trip during the labor day weekend in 2010. We climbed a couple of days, a total of four routes.
