################################################################# # greenman # # Scene Grinning face of a very green man # Author Greg Denby # Message This is a somewhat stylized face/head, no hair, no # hat, but otherwise fairly detailed. Essentially, I # just draw in the features freehand, and connect the # faces... Of course, any renderingss belong to you. # However, being the discoverer of all the points in # XYZspace, I retain rights to them. Also, the method # of creating them, called "thinking" belongs to me # (sarcasm intended.) # # If you like this work, reciprocate by uploading some # of your work. Hats off to all those who have already # done so. # Greg Denby # gdenby@darwin.cc.nd.edu # # Comments Netherland art always was/will be in demand. This # model is great, but, alas, double-sided. I fixed # it slightly (from face, and grom both cheeks), so # smoothing could produce resonable view. Watch out # for some hidden "un-fixed" polygons in the model! # Also, the face is very wrinkled, so I forced very # agressive smooth. Result: weird normals appeared, # to fight which you'd need double float precision. # What a mess... # # Objects 4,399 double sided polygons # Precision DOUBLE # Memory 1.37M -> 1.86M (patch) # Time 640x480 sample 16, demiurge: 1 min 56 sec # # Wonderful head #################################################################
