The early years:

• 1984: "Egyptians In Action"
  As part of the Hilldale Elementary School 5th grade play, Muskogee, Oklahoma. Devised and performed with Sprout Anderson, Donald Acuff, and Boever Treseder.
• 1987: "Hamlet, Act I, Scene 1: Three Variations"
  Independently staged in Mrs. Galluzzi's class. No funding or class credit received. With Anthony Haxton and this other guy. The ghost was a guy covered with a sheet and gliding on an office chair. The three variations were: Shakespeare's original, a simplification into modern English, and a "parody" of the original.
