GTK-- is the C++ wrapper around GTK. GTK, depending on which documentation one looks at, is either the "General Tool Kit" or the "Gimp Tool Kit". One of its components is the "General Drawing Kit" or GDK. The CS140 Genome Group made use of GTK-- for our CS140 project, ACE Draw, which will be used in the Human Genome Project.
