For a half-orc, Mantum doesn't look all that impressive. He is no doubt large, topping the scales at over 300 pounds. But, a good portion of that weight is fat. He has the hair, stench, and mannerisms of a half-orc, but lacks the sharply cut muscle structure that defines the warlike race. Given that he is a half-orc, his prominent brow and jutting lower canines lend him an unintelligent, animilistic appearance. Adding to these traits, Mantum also has yet to grasp the intricacies of common. Because of this, he speaks sparingly, and when he does, he struggles; usually sticking with simple phrases. From the outside, Mantum looks like a dumb, fat, weak half-breed.

If anyone bothers to look deeper, they will find that Mantum is much more than his looks. His soft exterior hides the dense musculature inherent to his orcish blood. For a seemingly out of shape mound, Mantum has incredible strength, speed and dexterity. But even these things are not what surprise most people.

Mantum's true strength lies in his mind. Through almost a decade of solitary travel and introspection, he has developed a wisdom far beyond what any would expect from his bloodline. Any length of conversation with the man would reveal that he is much more than just your average dumb, bloodthirsty half-orc. He is intelligent, acting with his mind before his body. He has care for the world, and tries to avoid killing when it is not necesarry. And he is spiritual, strong in his bond with Krolm, and his faith in himself.
