Epic II
The Lawmakers have succesfully extended their governship over northern Pai-Lau, creating The Rule of Law.
Epic I
The Underclan is the Elven Thieves' Guild. The party has had a few encounters with them, but they generally remain a mystery. Whisper, with whom the party had quite a wild ride, was an agent of the Underclan.
Epic II
Noone is quite sure what has happened to the Underclan since the fall of Quaal'Aneesh. It is clear that they still exist, as is evidenced by Ro'kim's involvement with the party. However, their current purposes and plans remain a mystery.
Epic I
The Red Hand is the Thieves Guild for non-elves in the Scavenger Kingdoms. The party has had early encounters with agents of this organization. They have also done jobs for The Don, the leader of the Red Hand. But, as with any other Thieves Guild, the Red Hand remains mostly a mystery to any non-members.
The evil party are all members of this guild. It is a
very structured organization, with inner rankings and a code of behavior.
In a sense, for the Red Hand, there is honor among thieves. Both the
Underclan and the Lawmakers are generally disliked by the Red Hand.
The current evil party is unnaffiliated with the Red Hand.
Epic II
The Red Hand is still around, but the party hasn't dealt with them in many decades.
Epic I
The Slavers Guild was by far the richest and most influential merchant guild in Quaal'Aneesh. The purpose of this organization is quite obvious. They capture and sell Chaos Races in Quaal'Aneesh. At first, when the Seven Kingdoms were still solvent, their slaves came primarily from the Cursed Lands, with little resistance. However, now the Slavers have begun to take humans and centaurs as slaves. This has caused a lot of problems in the Scavenger Kingdoms. It also causes a whole lot of friction with the Lawmakers.
The Slaver's Guild recently betrayed its homeland of Quaal'Aneesh, and have thrown their lot in with the Enkari Empire. Their Beegs have added a lot to the Empire army's might.
Epic II
Now, the Enkari Empire has fallen, and the Slavers have an empire of their own, rising out of the ashes of Enkari. This empire is known as the High Kingdom. The Slavers have stopped being a guild, and are now a ruling class.
Epic I
This is a strange race of Mold Men living beyond the Dragonwall. They have made a lasting impression with the party. Many of these mold men exhibit strange mental powers.
These mold men have been exterminated by Hared, except for a small band of ~5000 of them. These remnants, led by Victory, currently reside in the Cursed Lands, and wage guerilla warfare on the Enkari Empire border.
Epic II
Since the fall of the Enkari Empire, these Mold men have remained in the Cursed Lands, trying to survive in their harsh environment.
Epic I
This is the southern force that is resisting the advances of the Enkari Empire. Its figurehead leader is Redfoot, a centaur the party has had dealings with many times in the past. However, the actual leader is an anonymous mage of great power. It is comprised of all races. They generally dislike but tolerate the Lawmakers, and are currently in an alliance with them against the Enkari Empire.
The leader has been found to be Arebrus.
Epic II
Many Blades have fallen into banditry now that there is no war. Arebrus no longer leads the group. The remaining troops loyal to Redfoot have succesfully secured a large portion of south-western Pai-Lau, now known as the Union.
