April 21, 2001, Beckman Auditorium, Caltech

The professional a cappella group SoVoSo is coming to Caltech's Beckman Auditorium, and we'll be opening for them, along with Out of Context and the Treble Makers. This is a big deal, so we hope all our fans can come out and help us give a great performance!    Post Show Note: WOW!!!! One of the most awesome performing experiences of my life!!! It was only one song, but what a tremendous rush! Thanks to everybody who made it possible -- OPE, SoVoSo, everybody! And thanks to our fans for coming out and making BA thunder with applause!

April 20, 2001, Colorado One Square, Old Pas

The Office of Public Events pulled some strings to allow us, Out of Context, and the Treblemakers to gig at the Colorado One Square (next to the AMC, Johnny Rocket's and the wierd construction sculpture). No idea when we'd be starting, but I'm guessing around 6 or 7pm. Come check it out -- street sings are always a blast!    Post Show Note: It was cold & rainy, but what incredible, beautiful fans! Now that's dedication! Y'all rock my world!

We're hoping to be able to make it to the "Human Symphony A Cappella Festival", hosted by Midnight Echo. Concert begins at 6pm, and the organizers home to give you FOUR full hours of a cappella music. I'll probably go just to see a concert that huge. And all for just $3!!!    Unfortunately, we can't make this, because 3 of our 8 are either at a Caltech Chamber Singers concert or out of town. :(

Come check us out at the Claremont Colleges' SCAMfest, this Friday, starting at 8pm! Email us for more info. Sorry about the late notice, folks, I'm still getting used to being Master of Content. --Joe Post Show Note: SCAMfest was a blast! We rocked the house with Basketcase, Hey Leonardo, and Enter Sandman, and got to jam with a bunch of wicked groups from Claremont including our hosts the Shades, as well as the world-famous USC SoCal VoCals, the hot harmonizin' UCSD Tritones, and the lovely ladies of the USC Sirens. Despite switching Scott's mike with the VP mike (AAAUGH!!!), it went really, really well. We have a medium-quality video recording if you're interested.

We aren't really sure when or where yet, but we will have a table at graduate and undergraduate club fairs. Expect to hear some singing, more about us, and to be able to sign up for auditions!
