IIci,
-
On the front of the chassis of the Macintosh
IIci,
underneath the Master Lock and below the apple logo, you
will notice two flat buttons. Firmly press and release the
left button
(the one with a small left-pointing triangle).
-
Quadra 660av,
-
Since there are no restart/interrupt buttons on the
Macintosh
Quadra 660av,
there is instead a keyboard sequence to power-cycle the
computer. To execute it, simultaneously press the
Control,
Command, and
Power-On
keys.
Do NOT power-cycle the computer by pressing the
toggle power switch on the front of the chassis, below and
on the right side of the floppy disk drive.
-
Power Macintosh 7100/66.
-
Either method mentioned above is available on the
Power Macintosh 7100/66.
The only differences are that the restart/interrupt buttons
on the front left of the chassis are round, instead of
flat, and that, sometimes, the keyboard method is
unavailable.
