I went to Hawai'i, part 2

The sort-of photo journal

Day 1 [Megan at the beach] She said her brother told her to go to Sandy Beach. This part of it wasn't all that sandy. But the waves were nice and there were lots of rocks on the ground. Our first stop on our tour of the southeast portion of Oahu. See Megan's lei? Very nice, ya?
Day 1 [Pali is a cliff] It's windy there. It's got a breathtaking view too. See? I don't even know where we were looking. I think south. Chad claims you can jump off the cliff and get pushed back. I didn't try.
Day 1 [Touching mountains] I can almost reach the top of the mountain. There is no mountain behind the clouds. The mountains are so green in Hawai'i. Kind of like Taiwan but minus all the houses and trash.
Day 2 [Living like kings] We got to stay in the Ala Moana suite on the 23rd floor in the Hawai'i Prince Hotel for two nights. This is a view from our window. It was gorgeous. You can see Ala Moana park (with the beach) just past the yacht yard. I don't really care for yachts.
Day 2 [Before we got lost] We hiked up Diamond Head, and this is one of the views. You can see for miles and miles.... Chad even pointed out Maui and Lanai. The sea is so pretty...
Day 3 [Swimming with endangered species] See the reef. This is at Hanauma bay. See the snorkelers? We went snorkeling too. But we're not in the water. That's why there's a picture.
Day 3 [I like the view] I was really at Hanauma bay. See it's me in front of it. We're waiting for the hotel shuttle and Teddy wanted to take pictures. Nice backdrop, eh?
Day 5 [In the car] Some pretty place we passed by, near Crouching Lion rock. I think it's on the North shore (only 4 directions, I got pretty good chances).
Day 5 [Hats in the sea] The only clear thing here (besides the sky) is the little island in the distance. It's called Chinaman's Hat. I read somewhere that at low tide you can walk there. Volcanoes make interesting landforms.
Day 5 [Just like in brochures] Waimea bay has nice pretty white sand. I didn't realize this picture was mostly sand when I took it. People say the surf's really big here in the winter. I'd like to see that.
