Putting aside the obvious sexual connotations that this comic inspires, consider the inverted stereotypes that this comic introduces. Given prevalent themes of chauvanism and traditional social roles it is interesting to note that this comic places the male in the servant role. If Bazooka Joe was wearing the shirt then there would be no inuendo, thus it is clearly intentional as well as shocking to see that the comic would hint at gender equality.
