Genius and social functionality

Despite the fact that quirky behavior seems socially acceptable to a larger number of people than before it is clear that Mort's behavior is clearly intended to be socially inacceptable. The heighth of the turtleneck is intended for the sole purpose of making Mort into, what is referred to in slang as, a nerd. Becuase of the fact that Mort doesn't appear in as many isues as the rst of the cast seems to indicate that Mort is not as accepted as the others since he does hang with them as much.
