Rebellious youth

The crux of this theme is Metaldude. Part of Metaldude's personality includes listening to loud heavy metal music. This personality trait apparently causes him to have the characteristics of a vandalous idiot. This comic strip is apparently utilizing the idea of societal castes. Metaldude serves the function of a bottom-feeder, an entity that does not conform to social folkways or mores and feeds off the refuse of the rest of normal society.
