Poor role model

The focus of the entire series is the character of Bazooka Joe. Given the way in which he is presented, one would think that he was intended to be a role model for teenagers. However, given Bazooka Joe's actions and attitude in the majority of the comics, it would seem that he is a rather poor role model.
