My AD&D Campaigns and Characters
.
My Characters In Chronological Order:
- Brother Arminius, a cleric of Asilomar, (inactive)
A LN priest of extraordinary physical and spiritual strength. He
did not take kindly to monsters even when the party tried to persuade him
to be more diplomatic and compassionate. He thought they were a bunch of
newbies, not unrightly so.
- Senior Inquisitor Malleus, a cleric of Haelyn, (inactive)
A LN member of the Confessors Order, he accidentally entered the
Mists of Ravenloft. There he found out he was the reincarnation of a
betrayed dead king. The evil and harshness of the place combined with
the naivety and pettiness of his comrades made him pathologically
suspicious, distrustful, and ruthless. He chose to trust his magical
items instead of the party. Thus he set up his own defeat, since the
Master got control over him through a holographic enchantment on his own
helm. The result was a la Darth Vader, but without redemption.
- Mindwalker Zen, a telepath, (deceased)
He had the lack of vision to be a psionicist in a world of
religious bigotry and witch hunts. His first mistake was his last. After
months of torture in a church prison, he was finally burnt at the
stake.
- Alfonso Torichelli, a fighter, (deceased)
His curiosity and thirst for adventure were only bested by his
wisdom and warrior prowess. A good and great man, who suffered an early
death after letting himself be persuaded to act recklessly by stupid and
greedy comrades. Their death was of little consolation.
- Brother Aedor, a cleric of Curaecen, (inactive)
A man of honor, warrior spirit, and religious devotion. He fought
evil fishmen both on land and sea long and hard, but eventually he emerged
victorious, powerful, and rich. Some of his comrades were actually rather
decent.
- Korr, a telepath/cleric of Coyote, (god)
The dwarven epitomy of being at the right place at the right time,
he joined a group of powerful adventurers who had the fate of their world
in their very hands. That propelled him through unseen wonders and
blood-curdling horrors, which his inquisitive nature transfered into
knowledge and experience. Within a matter of weeks, he became the most
powerful psionicist in his world, while also boasting mighty clerical
ability. Some developments of universal scope propelled him to godhood in
a plane of his own. Finally, he was one of the victors in the
battle of all battles, which shaped the future of that universe.
- Thorvald the Cruel, a paladin of Forsetti, (deceased)
The reincarnation of a powerful adversary, he was tortured every
night by nightmares of the horrible global consequences of his past life's
evil deeds. His goal to repay at least partly for the harms
was not nearly successful as he met untimely demise while on his second
quest. Beyond doubt, his curse must have respawned him almost
immediately someplace else, so that his nightmares can shatter his
peace yet again.
- Brother Thorvald, a cleric of Asilomar, (inactive)
He had the misfortune of being LN and of priestly devotion in a
world governed by a single Almighty God, who took it upon Himself to
disseminate His own brand of hypocritical and self-righteous justice
under the pretence of LG ideas. Gradually disillusioned about his God's
motives, methods, practices, and ideas, Thorvald threw away his priesthood
and pursued other venues of life.
- Thorvald Bonjovina, a crusader of Tyr, (deceased)
A LN mixture of clerical and fighterly abilities. As a Knight
Hierophant, it was his task to purge the newly-revived Temple of Elemental
Evil. In a world where level improvements could only be gained through
training at generally exorbitant prices, his comrades were even more drawn
to treasure. Neglecting his urgings to leave after a successful battle,
they chose to stick around in search for loot. That gave the Earth
worshippers enough time to gain reinforcements, regroup, and trap the
party inside the Temple. The rest was a bloody massacre...
- Teron Gorefiend of Martok, a fighter, (inactive)
A great honorable warrior, who thirsted for battle and
distinction with all his heart. His group of adventurers
disappeared in the caves under the Old Pulfrey Keep and nobody ever
learned what befell them.
- Thorgil, a crusader of Tyr, (inactive)
A more priestly and less paladinly fellow-Hierophant of
Bonjovina's. Warned of the recklessness of Thorvald's party, he first
tried to teach them wisdom and valor through personal example. As that had
no effect, he proceeded to argue his military ideas and prudent
strategies in direct persuasion. Again to no effect. Finally, he lost his
temper with them and divested himself of any responsibility for their
safety, which just lost for him whatever small respect and appreciation he
had earned in their eyes.
- Rum, a fighter/assassin, (inactive)
A nasty and sly NE dwarven killer. He killed for pleasure and
profit, being indiscriminate in methods and means. The party discovered
his roguish potential comparatively late. Intelligent, diplomatic, and
hypocritical, he furthered his interests and influence far beyond the
expected or recognizable. Among his evil deeds was his brutal slaughter of
23 of the 25 high-level characters, whom he found helpless and thawing
after petrification hibernation. He spared two on account of them being
dwarves like himself. They turned out to be just his type, so soon they
were plundering, killing, and pillaging together like old buddies. In the
light of historical events of global scope, which rumbled in the
background, one day the trio put the rest of the party to the axe...

- Ozric, a mage/thief, (deceased)
Ozric met his doom in his first session. A combination of extremely
bad luck and criminal carelessness on his part, as well as heavy-handed
DMing and less than ardently loyal camaraderie. Some people just get it
all wrong at first, and are never given a second chance. Maybe they are
better off dead.
- Juro, a fighter/monk, (missing in action)
Juro was a mighty oriental swordsman. The synergy between his two classes
created a formidable power base, which he utilized with wisdom, skill, and
caution. In a highly magical world overridden with the forces of
hypocritical good, he chose to work for restoration of the balance in the
employment of evil overlords. They made the mistake of deceiving him,
which he took... hard. In addition, three fellow-minions crossed him one
way or another. As a result, he changed allegiance to a rival evil faction
and slaughtered the three. Next, the party went in an interplanar
prison-city on a mission of global import. There, in the climactic final
battle against the forces of good, the party was outnumbered and
outclassed. Sensing the inevitability of the party demise, Juro chose to
wield an evil spell-casting intelligent sword in the hope that that
would turn the tide of battle. It did. The party barely survived, but
the evil sword had magic-jarred Juro's spirit and taken over his body.
The two were last seen strolling into the sunset...
