Bi-Weekly. I can't make it weekly and couldn't make a game day, either.

Howdy all!

Well, it looks like weekly sessions are a bit too time-consuming for some players. Both Max and Vlad feel that they can't make weekly sessions, but might be able to make bi-weekly ones. And Jim has been averaging about half the sessions to begin with. So the first question before the players is: what would people prefer?

Mark T suggested that we hold a game day on the non-session days, that people could optionally go to if they felt like it. This would be a "bring your friends, cool games, and snacks and have fun" type of deal. If we do do that, then Mark has graciously been volunteered to arrange it. icon_razz.gif

Last but not least, until we figure out what's going on, let's take a hiatus from sessions until Sunday, Dec 4th. So that means we won't be meeting this Sunday or the next. Since this is different than what we planned on last session (just to skip the Thanksgiving session) I'm going to e-mail everyone about this, as well. Enjoy the Thanksgiving Holidays!

I want to appologize for not attending this last session, but I was otherwise engaged in paganistic worship of the Porcelain God (which involves sticking your head in your toilet and giving an offering of the contents of your stomach).

I personally feel that there is no point in me playing at all if we are not going to play on a weekly basis. I bent over backwards pleading and cajoling (and doing some unmentionable favors for) my previous sunday group to change their schedules for my own benefit, so I could join this group. To then have my efforts wasted by changing to a bi-weekly meeting is not worth it for me.

In case my last entry was not clear, I would be very disappointed if we went to biweekly sessions. This group is something I look forward to every weekend, and it would be dearly missed.

... but I did figure out how to log on. Now that I have accomplished this feat, I can leave messages. So, I would like to play weekly; however if it nets us more players, i would be willing to do the bi-weekly thing and run an alternate session on the off week. For thoise who see non-campaign games as a bit of a waste, we could always make the off-week a second campaign. In a case like this, I would advise the second campaign be non-D&D and non-D20; to -prevent any rules confusion betwixt games. icon_eek.gif

I have a lot of cool games we can play biweekly, but I still want to play weekly.

However, if there is reason enough to play biweekly, I have games like Settlers of Catan (and all the expansions), Killer Bunnies, and more.
