Mylenia is armed with two identical short swords, one in each hand. An elaborate tattoo covers the back of her right hand. She usually wears leather armour, a short green skirt, and brown boots which come up almost to the knee. A belt and cloak complete the outfit, and she has a couple additional swords at her side. Unbeknownst to most who encounter her, Mylenia carries a myriad of other weapons concealed within her cloak and belt. A special sword named Sparrowe that may be thrown is concealed within her fancy tattoo. Her face is usually plain, although looks from shifty to flirtatious are not uncommon.

Upon spending a little time with Mylenia, it is easy to discover that she likes to have her way with things. Her way is not the only way, although she may be very stubborn when certain subjects come up. She is fairly principled, but she has no qualms about doing certain illicit things that seem the best way to improve her own situation.

Mylenia is a weaponsmith by trade, being experienced in the craftings of all sorts of arms. She is the owner of a beautiful new forge in the city of Steppe, one of the largest and fastest growing settlements in the Chaos Lands. Steppe may be the rebirth of civilization after a long period of disorder and unrest. She also survives by thievery and cunning when it is convenient, as a form of entertainment and as a way to pad her pockets. She is not above prostitution when it seems useful, having earned quite bit through the sale of her flesh.

Mylenia was born in Quaal'Aneesh, the only part of Pai-Lau that has not fallen to ruin. She was the daughter of a human father and an elven mother. Although she denies that her unknown father was a human who raped her mother, there is no other possible explanation. Mylenia lived there, concealed by her loving mother, until the age of eight when she was expelled and sent to live with a caretaker in the Chaos Lands. He was a weaponsmith by the name of Arin, and she grew under his loving care, although she continued to long for her mother and the glorious, magical land where she first resided. Arin taught her the trade of making weapons as well as a few of the finer points of survival in life.

Mylenia has been travelling with a band of fortune-seekers, hoping to see the world and grow into a wealthy and powerful warrior. She also desires to learn the art of disguise, for Quaal'Aneesh remains an unblemished heaven in her mind and she wishes some day to efface her human characteristics and to return there to live. Thus far the party have been successful, although the demise of several of the party's beloved (and despised) characters have taught Mylenia new lessons about the finality of death. Some encounters with rude and vicious slavers have also shown Mylenia the cruler side of the Elvish folk from which she was sheltered previously; however, she still denies her human heritage and thinks of herself as a purebred. Perhaps some day she will shun their genocide and come to accept her true lineage.
