• Mail can take anywhere from two to five weeks.
Plan accordingly.
• Mark all mail "AIRMAIL" and/or "PAR AVION".
I've heard horror stories about non-existant ground service.
• Number your mail.
It helps me know if a letter disappeared.
• Send post cards in envelopes.
Post office bulletin board fodder otherwise.
• Send packages in padded envelopes.
Boxes don't always make it, even in the USA.
• Include a packing list.
That way I'll know if someone has sticky fingers.
