The Rochester Choral Arts Ensemble completed our *rockin'* performance with the SPCO this past fall. Hard to put into words, but I'll try soon. I'm also working on getting a job writing a website for the group. The old one is here, while this is the one I've developed, although it's still really just a crude demo ("...it's only a model."). We also performed our Christmas concert and our ...ahem... interesting international music concert, leaving us with our Americana/Simple Gifts concert at the end. Will I score another solo? I hope so... I have STILL been in a long recording slump. Scarborough Fair now replaces You've Got A Friend. Again, it's not a final version, but it's something. I need to get around to posting sound clips from CAE. All in good time... I guess. The Mayo a cappella group may have died a gruesome death. I left it, anyway :) More on that later. Scarborough Fair, good old Simon & Garfunkel, my arrangement (pretty much transcribed from theirs, sans harpsichord), with me on guitar and vocals Lullaby In Birdland, a jazz standard performed a cappella and arranged by Nate Paymer All Of My Life, a cappella cover of the House Jacks original, arranged by me

As always, Out of Context and Ecphonema, the mixed and men's contemporary a cappella groups at Caltech (and my ex-crews), are still going strong. They and the Treble Makers just finished opening for the pro group, SoVoSo, at Caltech's Beckman Auditorium during prefrosh weekend. Visit their websites and find out what they have planned for the future...
