high school was wonderful. i had a fabulous time at st. thomas aquinas. there were great people, great teachers. i will always look back fondly on that period of my life.

probably the most influential experience in high school was my involvement with SSIP, a program sponsored jointly by NASA and the National Science Teachers Association. it entailed writing a proposal for an experiment to be done on Mars. my colleagues from this program are simply amazing. it was a profound experience.
