Internet Cornbread

1/4 c white sugar

3 Tbs shortening

2 cup milk

1 tsp salt

2 eggs

1 c flour

5 tsp baking powder

1 1/2 cup cornmeal

• Preheat oven to 325.
• Cream sugar and shortening
• Add milk,salt, and eggs
• Mix together dry ingredients
• Gradually add into mixture. Pour into 8 x 8
• Bake 20min, until toothpick comes out clean

NOTE: Serve with lots of butter
