Sweet Dough

1/2 c sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 package yeast

4-5 c flour

1 c milk

1/2 c butter or margarine

1 egg

• Combine sugars, salt, yeast, and 1c flour
• Mix in butter and milk
• Beat 2min at medium speed
• Beat in eggs
• Add 1c flour
• Continue mixing, adding flour to make a soft dough
• Knead for 10min, shape into a place
• Place in a greased bowl
• Cover and let rise in a warm, dry place for ~1hr
• Punch down on a lightly floured surface
• Cover and let sit for 15min
