Apple Dapple Cake

3 eggs

1 1/2 c oil

2 c sugar

2 tsp vanilla

3 c apples - chopped

3 c flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

1 1/2 c nuts - chopped

• Mix eggs, oil, and sugar blending well
• Sift flour, salt, and baking soda
• Add flour mix to egg mix
• Add vanilla, apples, and nuts
• Pour into a greased and floured 10" tube pan
• Bake at 30 for 1 hr
• While still hot pour hot topping over pan and let cool

Topping

1 c brown sugar

1/4 c milk or cream

1/2 c butter or margarine - melted

• Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan
• Cook for 2 1/2 min over high
