Country Apple Pie

2 recipes Favorite Pastry

1 c sugar

1/4 c flour

3/4 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

dash of salt

8 apples - thinly sliced and peeled

4 Tbs whipping cream

• Preheat oven to 425
• Mix flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt
• Stir in apples
• Place mixture in pie shell
• Drizzle with 3 Tbs whipping cream
• Cover with top crust. Make sure there are slits cut through
• Brush with remaining whipping cream
• Bake 40-45min or until crust is brown and juice bubbles through
