Graham Cracker Crumb Cake
1 c butter
1 2/3 c sugar
4 eggs - separated
3 1/4 graham cracker crumbs
1 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 c whole milk
1 tsp vanilla
- Butter a 12x17-inch sheet pan and line with parchment.
- Cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg youls
one at a time, beathing after each addition.
- Mix the graham crackers and baking powder together. Add to the butter
mix. Add the milk and vanilla and blend wel.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold gently into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth. Bake at 350 for 25
minutes, or until the cake begins to pull away from the edge of the pan.
- Cool and invert onto a rack to cool completely.
