Meringue
4 egg whites (room temp)
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1 c sugar
- Preheat oven to 250. Line cookie sheet with brown paper bag
- Combine tartar and egg whites at medium speed until foamy or starts forming peaks
- Gradually add sugar, beating at high until stiff peaks form. Make sure sugar is dissolved
- Place 1/3c mix on paper 1/2" apart
- Make a well in middle of each mound
- Bake until firm and very light brown ~50min
- Turn off oven and leave there for 1hr
