Pie Shell (Ice Cream Pie)
6 oz chocolate chips
2 Tbs butter or margarine
2 c rice crispies
- Melt chocolate and butter in medium saucepan over medium heat
- Remove from heat
- Stir in cereal
- With well buttered hands spread over bottoms and sides of a well-buttered 9" pie pan
- Chill until firm
NOTE: for ice cream pie, choose ice cream and syrup. Then pack slightly melted ice cream firmly into crust. Pour syrup over top and serve with whipped cream. Some good combinations are vanilla ice cream with butterscotch syrup or peppermint ice cream and choclate syrup
