S'more Stacks (S'more Ice Cream Cake)
These can be made as stacks or as a cake.
Graham Cracker Crumb Cake
Chocolate Peanut Butter
Filling or Quality Chocolate sacue with 1/2 peaunt butter
1 1/2 c mini marshmallows
1 quart vanilla or praline-and-cream ice cream
4 Skor or Heath bars - crushed
Powdered sugar - for dusting
- Line 2 bread pans with saran wrap and place in freezer.While preparing
for assembly.
- Toast the marshmallows with a small blowtorch or: Spread them very
closely together on a foil-lined sheet pan. Place unfer the broiler and
toast until golden brown.
- Cut graham cracker cake into 6 rectangles so that there will be three
levels for each bread pan.
- Spread approximately 3 Tbs of choclate sauce on 4 cake
rectanbles.
- Remove pans from freezer. Working quickly, layer in the following
order: 1 cake and chocolate piece, 2.5 Tbs English toffee, thin layer of
toasted marshmallow, slightly softened ice cream. Repeat the layers and
top with a plain piece of cake. Press down gently, but firmly. Freeze
immediately.
- To serve remove from freezer and let stand 0-2 minutes (depending on
ambient temperatures) Transfer to a plate and remove saran wrap. Working
quickly top with a solid layer of toasted marshmallows. Surroung ith a
drizzle of extra chocolate sauce, sift powdered sugar over all and serve
immediately.
