Toffee-Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 c brown sugar
1 c butter or margarine
1/4 c honey
1 egg
2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
12 oz chocolate chips
6 oz almond brickle chips (4 scor bars)
- Preheat oven to 350
- Mix brown sugar, butter, honey and egg
- Stir in mixed dry ingredients
- Stir in chocolate and almond brickle chips
- Line cookies sheets with foil
- Sppon 1/4c batter (6 per sheet)
- Bake 12-14min or until golden brown
- Remove after 5min
NOTE: For flatter cookies use only 1/2 tsp baking soda. For less rich
cookies use 1/2 c shortening and 1/2 c butter instead of 1 c butter
