Blackened Albacore
1 albacore steak (1 1/2-2" thick with 2" diameter)
Blackening spice
1 lemon
1 Tbs butter or margarine
2 Tbs olive oil
- Heat skillet with butter and oil, don't burn
- Squeeze lemon over fish
- Coat fish with blackening spice (both sides)
- Cook over high heat ~5min on each side or to desired degree of doneness
NOTE: This recipe can be used for a variety of different fish including salmon and other tunas
