Teriyaki Wings (Black Chicken)
3 lbs chicken wings - cut at joints if necessary
1 c soy sauce
1/2 c butter or margarine
1 c brown sugar
1 tsp ginger
2 cloves garlic - minced
3/4 c sherry
- Melt butter in large oven proof pan (broiling pan)
- Add all other ingredients except chicken
- Heat and stir until dissolved
- Add chicken wings in a single layer
- Bake for 2 hrs at 350 (turn after 1 hr). Watch carefully towards end for burning
NOTE: These wings can be served as a main dish. These are also great for a pot-luck
