I am currently exploring employment opportunities as a consultant in the
physical or information sciences for the next 3 months. Will consider
full-time employment, with the understanding that I might move to Northern
California fairly soon. Willing and interested in learning new programming

Under the guidance of Prof. Bill Young and Dr. Diego del-Castillo-Negrete at
Scripps Institution of Oceanography
at UCSD, developing a project in physical oceanography.
Worked on analytic and computational models of chaotic advection.

Taught section, graded papers and exams, and held office hours for Math2b,
Multivariable Calculus, and Math2c, Probability and Statistics at Caltech.

Assisted Prof. Jim McCarthy at Caltech with observational work at Palomar
Observatory and subsequent data reduction in his study of central stars of
planetary nebulae.

Under the guidance of Prof. Rick Wilson at Caltech, studied a problem in graph
theory, a branch of combinatorial mathematics. Paper and presentation entitled
"Decomposition of Complete and Complete Bipartite Graphs into Stars" received
a Doris Perpall Speaking Award
