Damn me if I don't love my music.

People can't always understand why. To whit, they can't figure out any consistent pattern in my musical preference. But these are the same people that have created several dozen different names for synthesized music (that's TECHNO, kids).

I don't need the stress. So PHUCK that.

Tres, tres useful for us people with a problem is IMMEDIATELY ACCESSIBLE MUSIC. That's right, clench that fist and make a vein. Here are a cadre of specialty record shoppes that have well-maintained web-pages, along with brief description of (ack) the categories they serve best.

• Synaptic Records - another local ambient, etc. source
• Digital Underground - goth/industrial from the Metropolis gentlemen
• Isolation Tank - more goth/industrial goodies. big ol' thumbs up.
• Poobah Records - life hasn't been the same since I moved away. big ol' thumbs up.
• Cafe Soundz - looks industrial/goth, never tried it. lotsa t-shirts.
• Middle Pillar - "gothic, ambient, _magick_(????), industrial, and esoteric". they did have rarer die form...
• RRRecords - experimental and old-school noise... I really need to hit this place up
• Forced Exposure - more experimental and electronics, and completely *random*, kinda curious
