So like, this is the band I (
Fred) am in. I play guitar and sing.
Denis is the other guitarist/vocalist, Gary is the drummer/ whip-wielder,
and Rob (who was gracious enough to sacrifice his own homepage so that the
band might have one) is our bassist. We've been together since
March 95. Lately we've been gigging around as often as we can and we've
generally been having a grand old time. We've got even got a couple of gigs
coming up in the near future, so if you're in the neighborhood, check out
our gigs page and try to make it down for some.
I'm really fond of these guys cuz we all write, but we all have different
influences. Basically this means that our style can't really be nailed
down...we have a lotta fun, tho...
In other news...Chump is the now the proud father of yet another demo tape ... cigars for everybody that smokes...If you want one (demos...not cigars, although we'd probably sell you one just because...), just get a hold of one of the band members of email us (see info below). As far as recording quality is concerned, we think this tape is just the bomb. We decided to go all out for this one and we actually went out and, check this out, rented a nice little ADAT (we even got the gnarly one), a really nice microphone, a DAT recorder, and recorded most of our originals. Mark did a whole shitload on this recording and we're really grateful. Instead of our usual "Let's turn this shit out as fast as we can turn shit out" philosophy with demo tapes, this time we actually tried really hard (especially Denis) to get a good sound and we'd like to think that we were relatively successful.
