This script uses Yahoo! Babel Fish (formerly AltaVista) to repeatedly translate a piece of text.

The original "Lost in Translation" script (the source of the word "Babelize") was written by Carl Tashian and is available here. When I wrote this, his script didn't work; he has since fixed it. My version also has a few more features.

There is now a Google version, which is somewhat less amusing.

Note that this script sometimes behaves in a strange and nondeterministic way.
