Well, I'm interested in anime, for one thing. I also hang out a lot on RanmaMUCK.
I'm doing a major in Mathematics, perhaps that says something about my interests. However, just because I'm science oriented doesn't mean I'm not interested in society, politics, or philosophy.
Perhaps you speak a foreign tongue? Or wish to learn? I am truly interested in languages, and am currently trying to learn Japanese (part of the anime influence there), as well as Russian. I already know French, English, and spoken Cantonese.
Also, lately I've undertaken the task of learning (and relearning) a smattering of few dozen computer languages. These include Perl and Unix shell script, OOPascal, C, C++, Forth, Dylan, and Mops. Perhaps my classes have something to do with my interests, too.
And, naturally, I'm interested in WWW, or
else you wouldn't be here reading this page.
Lastly, of late I've spent a lot of time on something called Illustrated Audio. It's a cool
MIME format which you can access over the Web. What it
allows you to do is string a bunch of GIFs and text
together in a time-coordinated slide show, with a continuous sound in
the background. It's lower bandwidth than a full animation, and easier
for us amateurs to produce.
