Photos Rant #2
Comments in black by Albert

First, to the left is what Jason refers to as the "death bus". Okay, now for a whole chunk of people-oriented pictures. What's a people-oriented picture you ask? Well, it's my term (now) for rationalizing why I can put up more pictures that pertain to me. Of course, I snuck a few in that didn't have me in them for good measure. Anyway, on with the show.

SSP, like any self-respecting summer program had its share of cliques. Now, I had the benefit of being sheltered in such a clique, so I don't have many pictures of anyone else... (hint, hint, give me some pictures to work with here!) Anyway, the picture on the left is of some spontaneous gathering in the lecture hall. The picture on the near right is during one of the breaks in my OD tutoring sessions. Yes, I explained how to do the OD to people, and yes, very definitely, it took long enough to warrant "breaks"... And the picture on the far right was taken on the very last morning of SSP, mainly to remember either the blatant violation of cross-visitation rules or to remember my clique.

Do you think our three TAs, Gary Horne, Mary Ellen Hunt, and Leslie Lee, look tired? Nah... I believe they were working on the scrapbook (which I may scan later if I'm really bored). Poor TAs. Anyway, the picture to the near left would be really nice if I looked evenly remotely like me in the picture. If any of you guys could give me pictures of your team, that would be great. (Thanks, Greg, for dragging us together to get our picture taken!)

Here are some other pictures that I didn't take. (In case you couldn't figure it out, I didn't take those pictures above where I'm in the picture; unfortunately, I don't know who did, so I can't credit them...) Anyway, my dad took these at our really cool graduation. Does anyone remember the curtain behind the speakers actually looking that bad? In the second picture, in addition to the crowd of us pretending to present gifts (what, you weren't pickpocketing?) you can pick out a few siblings, such as Way's, Camy's, Henry's, etc.

To the far left is my roommate from SSP, Stas Freidin, who is one damn cool guy. And right next to him is my roommate now at Caltech, Jason Meltzer, who is also a damn cool guy. And to the right is a picture which, unlike all the rest, was not taken at SSP, however since everyone in the picture is part of our class, I thought I'd include it anyway.

Unlike last time, I didn't write these comments in the early morning. But I don't think the time I'm writing this really matters, however, since I didn't sleep at all last night. Isn't college life great? =) Now send me some pictures!
