My contact information will change in July. I'm moving to Miami. Got
tired of the Seattle weather and wanted to try a new place with more
diversity. I'll probably move back to the West/SW in the future though.

Um, I'm going to get to Miami first and then worry about that.

I got my M.A. in International Studies (focusing on China) in March. I
got bored with working at Amazon in 1998 and started the MA program at U
of Washington. I don't expect to get a job with this degree; it was mostly
to expand my mind and to learn a little more about my heritage and to be
able to answer all those pesky political questions people ask you when
they think you must be from China or Taiwan. I resigned from Amazon in May
of 1999 and haven't looked back. Great place to shop, lousy place to work!

I don't do distinctive things. Caltech mellowed me out, remember? :P
Well, right now I'm in Utah. It's the last week of a summer program on the
Navajo reservation that I've been a part of the last three years. This
year they asked me to run the program, and I didn't know what I was
getting into. Ugh.
