QOD #8
By the second week of SSP'95, an epidemic of glomfests* had broken out all over the campus of Thacher School. One Mary S., winner of the first week of QOD competition, was the glomvictim* of Patrick Lopezquez, Harry Kimlock, Rich Hashish, and Phil Ching. (The names of those involved have been changed in order to protect their identities...heh heh.)
Pat, Harry, Rich, and Phil were known to devise silly plans in order to catch Mary's attention. Phil used a pair of unnecessary crutches (which he used inconsistently) as his attention-getter. Meanwhile, Pat, sour that he hadn't won the QOD prize, and Harry, being too lazy to turn in his purportedly "completely correct" answers to the TA's, decided that by stealing Mary's prize, they could both win her attention and boost there own egos in one fell swoop.
As further evidence of their charm, they serenaded the following to Mary:
