May, Zahra and Jason were all having breakfast together when Zahra said, "Have you noticed that we are the only one's who still eat breakfast?"
"Yeah," concurred May, "Do you think the rest have forgotten that breakfast is served at 8?"
"Eight!" Jason exclaimed, "I get here at 7:30 so I can get a good seat!"
"Wow!" Zahra and May said in unison.
After an uncomfortable silence, Jason spoke up saying, "What's your favorite holiday?"
"Christmas," May replied.
"Mine's Halloween" said Jason.
"Mine is Thanksgiving," added Zahra, "but only if it falls on the 27th."
"Why?" Jason and May said, scrunching their foreheads into a little wrinkle.
"So that it will be the same as both of yours."
"HUH?"
What was Zahra talking about? How are those three holidays the same? Hint: they are mathematically equivalent....but how?
