About Me
I lived in Beijing with my parents until the end of high school. Then I spent the following four years at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, CA. (Doesn't that name sound familiar? How about Rose Bowl?) Going to Caltech can be quite an experience because there you can find a lot of intriguing people, and you need to frequently refresh yourself with the outside world. Otherwise, you will be either assimilated or highly depressed. Honestly, everyone at Caltech is very nice and I've never regretted for my choice of going to that school. Plus, from time to time you have the opportunity to see some popular movie shooting activities on campus. That's really exciting. In a greater sense, entertainment is always not an issue there as long as you want to participate. Now I've given up all those great things of California and moved to Urbana-Champaign, Illinois to get my M.S. degree. It's COOOLD here, and this year it SNOOOWED like crazy. But still I've found some amazing aspects at this place, e.g., DVD rentals. This place is about two hours drive from Chicago, but I definitely like LA better. As you know, "life is like a box of chocolates," and "you never know what you're gonna get." Maybe this explains why I suddenly crossed the Pacific Ocean right after my high school and now I am in the Midwest. Maybe this explains why I didn't even bother putting up anything on the web for the past five years but now I do. What remains unchanged is that I am always that happy fellow, and a trustworthy friend you know.
