Caramel Nut Bars
- 24 graham cracker squares
- 1/2 lb. margarine
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts or pecans
Place graham crackers touching each other on a large rimmed baking
sheet. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown
sugar. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes, stirring. Pour evenly
over crackers and sprinkle nuts on top. Bake at 350°rees; F for 10
minutes. Cool 10 minutes and cut around each square and then through
the middle, making rectangular bars. Cool completely. Store airtight
or freeze.
