Ginger-Soy Marinade
- 1 tbsp. canola oil
- 2 tbsp. dry sherry
- 1 tsp. fresh ginger, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. lemon peel, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. sugar
Combine the ginger, garlic, sugar, and lemon peel. Stir in the soy sauce, sherry, oil, and lemon juice.
After marinating the food, reserve the marinade to use as a baste.
